It will be a model that faithfully reproduces the final limited edition Honda NSX "Honda NSX Type S" released in 2016.
Since the actual vehicle appeared at our company in 2016, we have commercialized the initial model and the NC1 type, which was minor changed in 2018, in 1/43. This time, the motif is the Type S, which was announced at about the same time as the announcement of the end of sales of the second generation NSX.
While the Type S has evolved in terms of mechanics such as an increased engine power, the exterior has also changed the impression greatly from the conventional model. In modeling, we performed a 3D scan of the actual vehicle, based on which the front and rear bumpers were newly designed and docked to the body of the conventional model on the data. Like the actual car, the basic frame of the car body is the same as the conventional model. By overpainting only the details unique to Type S, the model car is more consistent with the conventional model.
In addition to simply following the modeling on the surface, the shape of the cooling system parts that can be seen through the grille due to the changed bumper intake shape has also been reviewed to improve reality and depth.
Wheels are fitted with sharp white metal casting parts replacing brass cutting prototypes.
Clear coating is applied after pasting carbon pattern decals on the diffuser and lip spoiler.
Although it is a limited edition model, the Type S has the greatest presence in the history of the 2nd generation NSX. Please enjoy the difference side by side.
